Junior Livestock Auction
This sale will offer the finest market livestock available at a county fair in Michigan.  The live auction starts at 2:00 p.m. with Swine, Goats, Veal, Rabbits, Poultry, Sheep, Beef & heavy swine (300 lbs. and over).  The silent auction runs from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. of all blue ribbon rabbits, and quality market ducks, geese, chickens and turkeys. Market rabbits, ducks, geese, chickens and turkeys can be picked up Sunday following fair.
This is a culmination of the 4-H youths' project efforts.  This is the time when their livestock project animals are sold to buyers and the 4-H youth ask for the community support in purchasing their high-quality livestock.  Livestock are sent to processors at no expense to the buyer, and buyers are responsible for the cost of processing/packaging.  Buyers must designate their preference in processors on the night of the sale.  Any livestock that has not been designated to go to a processor on the night of the sale will be sent to an auction facility for resale.
2016 buyers are invited to a complimentary dinner from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the Community Building in appreciation for your previous year's livestock purchase.  Dinner ticket(s) mailed to buyers in July.  Additional tickets may be purchased at the door.  Complimentary admission passes are mailed to the previous year's buyers.
